WOWSERS!

Bobby T is back! FOR NOW! LOSTL!

This week i didnt get up to much, just pottered around the house with mum. My agent Larry Smulders hasnt found me much work, only because hes still doing his garbage man route in the mornings again. Being an agent to the stars doesnt pay that much when theres not much work out there!

I talked to Mum about my thoughts on giving up my dream and she said that i shouldnt. She doesnt really approve of my choice in life, but she supports me in my decision to do so which is really why i love my mum! Shes so great!

I even read this articles on the internets that my friend sent me : http://tinybuddha.com/featured/10-questions-to-ask-yourself-before-giving-up-on-your-dream/

Its about what you should do when you think that you should give up on your dream. It rings true for sure!

Mum, noticing how sad i was said that we should go on Vacation! She secretly booked 2 weeks with just me and her away in the NEW ZEALAND! WOWSERS! AN INTERNATIONAL AIR FLIGHT! LOSTL! Im so excited!

We’re going to Wellington in the New Zealand because she said that she wanted to see her friend Mimmy who lives there and used to go to the same church as Mum, before she met a man who was a “dirty filthy heathen” according to mum. He loved her though and that was enough!

So im leaving in 2 days for 2 weeks! SO GRAND! And im told, SO COLD! LOSTL!

But that means im going to miss out on my friend Rick’s birthday! I TOLD HIM THAT I WOULD HAVE DINNER WITH HIM! Im sure he’ll be happy that im off on a new adventure though!

Anyway, i thought i should just send you folks an update and to tell you that im still here! HOORAY!

Bobby T Loves you all!

Bob

EDIT: When Bob’s on holiday, ill be fixing up his site for him. Have a good time, Bob! -Rick

Thinking time is happy time and Haiku!

BOBBY COTTON SOXERS!

Hello everyone, another week has flown by without much else happening! Its a bit of a letdown after my jaunt to lovely Sydney, but i think i need the rest.

Lately, ive been thinking about my life and what im doing. Tony and Rico have asked me to help out more with the acting classes and to even host some!

I-zax and Sarah are still lovely and doing their things. I-Zax got himself a role in a local televisual production as an extra, so hes happy as a clam. Sarah is still doing her thing. She has a new boyfriend now and i dont get to see her much. His name is Mitch! LOSTL! MUCH MITCH!

Anyway, Mum and I are still happy in our lovely house thats now all up to date, which means my chores are nearly cut in half! The ladies of the street are so happy with the way i serviced them that they all made mum a plate of food for us to eat! SO WONDERFUL OF THEM!

Community. Thats what its all about.

I still see Tommy belfonte around every now and then, but i think hes too busy with his paper route to really notice me.  Rick is doing his wonderful writings and blogs and videos and everything! LOSTL! He wants me to be in one of his videos at some stage!

As i mentioned, im wondering what i want to do with myself and my life. I just dont know! should i get a real job and work on my acting in my spare time? should i change focus and go to the stage instead of the screen?

Its times like this that i think : What would Sinbad do?

And i dont mean the sailor! Sinbad is such a wonderful comedian, i used to love watching his movies when i was a boy.

He was so funny in Meteor Man and Jingle all the way with that Governmentman,  The terminational or something. Such a romp! Some of his stuff is a little blue and mum has to cover my ears, but i just love it! hes just hillarious!

Sometimes i think that i should get into comedy, but i dont have the comic timing genius of Sinbad or the props like Carrot Top. I should just stick to what im good at.

Anyway, Just a reflection on life. Bobby T can be deep! LOSTL!

Thinking about life,
I ponder what could be and,
What has come to pass.

The love of my friends,
And that of my lovely mum,
Makes it all worthwhile.

Have a lovely day!

What a week-end!

Holy Mobius! WHAT A SMASHING WEEKEND LAST WEEK!

I got back last Monday night and Mum wasnt happy that she needed to pick me up from the airport at such a late hour (7pm) but she was so happy to see me arrive from my smashing weekend, that it didnt stop her from giving me a huge hug and sloppy kiss on the cheek! Nothing beats coming home from, well, anywhere!

Thats why i havent been on this week, because i got grounded with no internets for the week! SORRY MUM! I must remember that chores come first!

To explain why i was at the airport last monday night is to go back to friday night the week before on my date with Jessica, one of I-Zax friends.

I planned to meet Jessica at the KFC’s in the city as thats my most favourite restaurant to ever go to if i want to smooth-move the ladies!

Jessica was a very pretty lady with green and black dyed hair, tied into a ponytail and pretty blue eyes! So outrageous! When she saw me, she came in and gave me a huuuuuuge hug and a kiss on the cheek as she introduced herself to me. I was beet red! She was dressed up in boots, black and purple leggings and a tartan skirt. Her jacket was all white and furry! She assured me that it was fake fur! LOSTL!

She said that she was a vegetarian and couldnt eat the culinary wonders of the KFC, so me being willing to try new and exotic delights was happy to try a restaurant at her request!

We went to a very bohemian suburb called Fitzroy to have a veggible food. Such smells! Curries and grass and mung beans, oh my!

Jessica and i started talking after we ordered and she was telling me about her family and how they were strict and whatnot so she decided to rebel against them as she likes spontaneous people and doing random things for the fun of doing them! She was so exciting!

She told me that she went hang gliding at midnight with friends after having a couple of cocktails, she went swimming naked at the beach for no reason at all and on the spur of a moment, went for a drive to another city to say hello to her friend! 8 HOURS AWAY!

I was hanging onto every word that she said as we were munching away on our tofu and fetta salad when she asked me if i had done anything spontaneous lately.

My only reply was “well, i certainly did use the public transport system! It was so exciting!”

“hah! Oh bobby, thats so funny. But seriously, have you never done anything super fun and out of this world in your life?”

“well, im trying to regularly date now, so thats always super fun and out of this world.”

“hahah! Well, lets do something exciting! Do you trust me?”

“Of course i do! You’re great!”

“Do you have ID and some money?”

“I never go unprepared” i said cheerfully.

“Lets go!”

Off i went and paid for our dinner as she collected her stuff. We hailed a taxi down and she told me to get in and block my ears, she wanted it to be a surprise. I dutifully followed along as she told the taximan where we were going. I was so excited that i thought i might pee a little!

“Where are we going?!” I kept asking her. She just smiled and said that i had to wait and see, the anticipation was killing me!

Finally we went onto the freeway and i couldnt see out the windows because of the fog, but i knew we were heading out of the city to somewhere else.

“ive never been out this way before! So excitement!” i told her.

Jessica just had a really happy grin on her face.

Then we arrived at this HUUUUUUUUGE building. Thats when i saw them. .. AEROPLANES! I WAS AT THE AIRPORT!

“WOWSERS!”

“Come on Bob, i have a friends credit card, where in Australia do you want to go?”

“I havent packed! Ive gotta call my Mum!” i blurted out. It was all so much!

Jessica smiled at me, grabbed my ID and ran off to the ticketing booth. She told me that it was a mystery flight as to where we were going and that i should go with the flow and enjoy it. A free flight to anywhere around this wonderful country? I SURE WILL ENJOY IT!

Soon we were rushing down to security as Jessica pressed all the buttons on the ticket machine for me and off we went! I got to the magnetotron used for getting weapons and it kept going off! I had to get waved by the wand, only to find out that it was my braces setting it off! LOSTL!

We rushed to the gate, and thats where i saw my destination : Sydney! HOLY WOWSERS! Im going to where Rose is! WITH ANOTHER WOMAN! I sure hope i dont run into her.

I was so excited as it was the first time i went on a plane! I wish i had a camera so i could take pictures for you all but it was all so fast. The flight attendants were so friendly and i had all the water i could drink! FOR FREE!

So luxurious!

We arrived in Sydney and Jessica got a taxi for me and off we went to a hotel in the city.

Such sights! Such smells! Such tasty foods!

We spent the entire weekend using Jessicas friends Credit Card, what a lovely fellow to allow her to use it!

I saw wonderful sights like a giant tower and a really lovely bridge and a funny looking white building that looked like sails! Jessica said it was an Opera House

This is a picture that i made Rick put up because i didnt have a camera with me:

And thats the bridge in the background that i saw!

It was such a shame when we had to leave as its such a pretty city, but i  love my melbourne. Its so wonderful!

The flight home was tiring because it was in the afternoon and I needed to call mum again (I did call her, Mr Mills when i got into the airport terminal on the way TO Sydney!) to pick me up.

Mum told me off for going off on a jaunty trip with a girl i hardly know, which i deserve, but i told her and assured her that Jessica was fine and that we stayed in different rooms as I requested, which brought down my punishment to only a week without the interweb! I love my mum, shes so understanding!

Anyway, i got my internets back today and found out that Jessicas friend wasnt so understanding and that shes having some trouble with the law! Oh dears, i hope it wasnt to do with that credit card! LOSTL! I-Zax said that it was bound to happen.

It was a good week off as i got to finish off painting the side of the house as well as the last parts of servicing the neighborhood ladies.

I did have some time to reflect on the situation this week and the teaching of his holiness, the Dalai Lama, come to mind:

“Life must be characterized by a sense of universal responsibility, not only nation to nation and human to human, but also human to other forms of life”

The responsibility was that i should be here helping my Mum, but it was just so much fun to go on a wonderful trip! Now that its out of my system and i’ve made it up to my mum, i should be back on track.

I hope your week has been wonderful too!

Bob

Extra work and Up-Date LOSTL!

Button Boots to you all!

Bobby T here again and yes, i didnt update on monday because i got an extra role in a tv show! Its for a local soap opera that im not allowed to name, but i can hint that its the name that you call your next door friends. Starts with N. LOSTL!

Anyway, i was in the background of a coffee shop drinking coffee and talking to a lovely girl named jill. She was also an extra just to make a bit of money. And BOY did it pay!

I was working on that for Monday and worked on one of my next door NEIGHBOURS’ house. She needed her roof drains unclogged as we’re having some REALLY cold weather here!

About my date with Jessica, It didnt happen! She unfortunately came down with the flu and had to reschedule, so we’re going out tonight! I sure hope the weather holds out and that shes not so clogged up! LOSTL!

So im all excited about taking her to that fancy restaurant. Ill report back in in no time!

The Trustys : Hot Date

May 21, 2010 Bob Trusty 1 comment

LOSTL! Rick told me to write that post title! He said its a computer game name!

Well, im just giving you a quick update on whats happening. Nothing much this week, just fixing up the last bits of the neighbourhood. Ill be sure to hide from Tommy Belfonte as we dont want a repeat of me hitting him again! I JUST DONT KNOW MY OWN STRENGTH!

Plus, Violence never solves anything. But Mum says that we need another War to “Thin the herd”.

Anyway, tonight is a date night! I wanted to work on my career for a while, but at a Tony and Rico Acting class that i went to on tuesday, i was confronted by I-Zax and Sarah who said that i was still moping about my beloved Rose. I havent heard much from her lately as shes super busy, but i think she said that she was going to New York and that her career was taking off to “wild and unexpected places”.

I hope mine does too one day, and maybe it will. I should do videos for the YouTubes! LOSTL! BOB ON THE INTERNETS!

So I-Zax and Sarah told me that they know of a lovely woman whos not a terrorist or a scientologist, and that she would be perfect for me. Im always up for something new so i said yes!

Her name is Jessica and i’m going to lay the smooth-Bob-Trusty-moves on her by taking her to a fancy Chicken Establishment restaurant and treating her to the culinary delights within!

Heaven knows what will happen! HOORAY!

I hope your week is lovely and ill try and get back to you on monday!

Until then, some words from his holiness, the Dalai Lama:

“Good wishes are not sufficient; we must become actively engaged”

Bobby Soxers to you all good fellows and fellowettes! LOSTL!

How have you all been? Ive been worked to the bone, but its nothing that a big strong man like me cant handle. Afterall, im BOB TRUSTY! LOSTL!

So this week has been REALLY busy with me helping out the ladies in the street. Some of them were really rough on me!

I worked my way through everyone on my street, which is a good 20 houses. Painting and fixing and even building a birdhouse! IVE NEVER WORKED WITH WOOD AND GLUE BEFORE!

I probably should have looked it up before doing it as i managed to glue myself to a piece of wood and needed to go to the hospital to have them remove it. IT HURT SO BAD! But its ok now and Mum said that they used nail polish remover on it so it was just my skin that burned.

Every night i was working well into the late hours of 9pm, which is my bedtime! But i had my chores at home to do as well as pleasuring the ladies of the street with my handywork, so i was really really tired.

On thursday, i went to help out at Mrs Hemsley’s place as she had a clogged pipe. The strange thing is though, i showed up in my usual green suit to help her out and she made me get changed into a plumbers outfit that she had in her closet. It was a little bit small and the pants hang really low, so the top of my backside was showing! I WAS SO RED!

She didnt mind that it was small and asked me to bend down and fix her sink, so i did. It was a little strange that everytime i would turn around and ask her a question on what i was looking for, she would be staring at me and licking her lips! Maybe she was thirsty for a drink of water and because i was fixing the sink, couldnt get one!

Anyway, I searched around and found what was clogging her pipes. It was her son Jimmy’s pet hamster. Poor Snuffy. Jimmy and i would have a funeral later for little Snuffy when he got back from school.

I got so handy when mum makes me do my chores, so helping out the ladies of the street with flicking their switches and i think they were all thirsty as they all licked their lips when i came over! LOSTL! LADIES ARE SO STRANGE!

One of the ladies even asked me if i knew about men in boats. We dont live near any water, but i did go to the ocean once when i was a young lad. And i definitely saw a few men in boats, so she might have been talking about that.

Well, when i was putting up her bookcase, she accidentally came into the room in the nude! She must have forgot that i was there! LOSTL! I quickly did the gentlemanly thing and not stared or looked and i managed to put up the last bits of the bookcase with one hand, the other one was shielding me from her nakendess! I was completely Beet-Red!

Such a strange way. I don’t want to say her name because she might be able to read the internetting and see this blob! LOSTL! I don’t want her to feel embarrassed like i was!

I quickly left and went on to the next lady, chuckling to myself.

Other than that, its been a busy busy week! I still have bits and pieces of peoples houses to work on, but ive been holding off on Mrs Belfonte until i know that tommy wont be there. Hes so mean to me that im SURE he would do something to me like push over the ladder or throw a wasp nest at me or something like that!

Best to not assume though as Mrs Belfonte is such a lovely woman.

I just have to be reminded of the words of the great one himself, His Holiness The Dalai Lama:

“Cultivating a close, warm hearted feeling for others automatically puts the mind at ease. It is the ultimate source of success in life.”

And for Monday Haiku day!

I’d Like to Help You,
Fixing All of your Woes and,
Make you feel happy!

Have a great day!

Button Drops to you all good people!

Its bobby T again and my friend Rick has said that i should stop listening to the radio and using the lyrics from the music as my blob post titles and to actually type something of use! LOSTL! HES SO GREAT!

Anyway, the last week has been a bit of a letdown in the acting department as my agent, Larry Smulders, has been overseas in Iceland but on his way through Chile. He said something about a volcano and earthquakes and everything that sounded much like the plot from a super action movie!

I sure do hope hes ok as the last i heard from him was that he was jumping over large rivers of molten rock! What an exciting guy he is for a garbage man!

So no offers of acting work, which is fine with me at the moment as im still a little ill from the Chinese Monkey flu, but im well enough to work.

So much so, that Mum was talking to all the ladies in the street about what a strong and handsome young man ive become that they all wanted me to come over to their houses to service them! thats what she told me! I GET TO SERVICE THE ENTIRE STREET!

Well, i couldnt be more chuffed as it got me out of the house and it was for a good cause. Strangely though, Mum was saying that it was only the women that wanted me to service their gardens and tend to them at their houses, none of the men! Except for the lovely Mr Box who owns a teeny tiny chihuahua and talks like a lady! LOSTL! HES SO WONDERFUL!

So thats my week, a new lady to help every day! It will do well for my karma points! Mum says that they’ll pay me a large amount of money to help them out with whatever they need for the day, but that she gets the money as a “house fee” and that she’ll safely store any of my earnings with her. She says that shes even BETTER than a bank!

Anyway, I hope you’re all doing great! I dont get to read too much onthelines anymore but ill certainly try!

So now i get to,
Help with the lovely ladies,
Of my lovely street.

I hope that they dont,
Ride me too hard and work me,
Til im red and raw!

Oh noes! Its raining! I hope you dont get wet!

BUTTON DROPS TO YOU GOOD SIRS!

LOSTL!

What a wonderful day, and what a week!

Im sorry i didnt get to post all week, but Mum surprised me with a trip down to the beach! IT WAS SO GRAND!

We got to stay in a wonderful hotel for the week and came back to the house on friday. I didnt get anymore acting jobs because Larry Smulders, my agent, was on easter holidays! Which means that IM on easter holidays too! WOWSERS!

So this weekend ive been fixing up the staircase as we had termites and i had to take out the rotting wood of the bannister and replace it with the store ones.  What excitements! I felt just like Jesus himself fixing things around the Jesus hut.

BUT! My date last week was, well, strange. I always have the luck with the ladies! LOSTL!

Chrissy and i went to one of my most favourite of restaurants, The KFC. With its plush leather seats and wonderful marble table tops. Its so clean and fresh! And the foods, so magnificent! Such flavours and textures!

Chrissy didnt seem that impressed but still continued along. I guess she eats out at fancy restaurants a lot! LOSTL!

After we ate, Chrissy said that she wanted to go dancing at the discoteque. I have two left feet, but i thought i should go anyway.

SUCH LOUD NOISES. It was all doof doof doof in my ear and i couldnt hear chrissy speak, but she was having a great time. I was the only one wearing greay slacks and comfortable shoes as everyone else was barefoot and wearing strange glowing makeup with funny glowing sticks! So magical!

But the noise was so loud and i lost Chrissy in the crowd at one stage. We agreed earlier that if we got lost, that we would meet up at the bar, so thats where i headed.

Everyone was so friendly and they all loved my braces. Everytime someone would come up to me, they kept touching my checkered tie! They all thought it was a piano and wanted to play it! Such wonderful, strange peoples!

Anyway, Chrissy came and found me and kept hugging me and telling me that she loved me. She even licked my face and tried to play my tie!

She sure is an affectionate type of person!

Anyway, she said that she had “dropped some” and was “feelin fine” a lot and asked if i wanted to join her. I said that i didnt know what she was talking about and that the music was giving me a slight headache! She said she had pills to give me and that i should have one.

Well, i dont really like taking the paracetemols. Mum says they’re drugs like anything else in this world.

I declined and said that i think we should end our night but she didnt want to go. I told her that i had a lovely time  with her and hope to talk to her again in the future!

Before i left, she started rubbing my chest through my clothes and stared at my tie. It was starting to scare me a little bit!

After excusing myself, i quickly ran out of there and went home again. What a strange place that was!

Anyway, I-Zax said that Chrissy was a bit of a “B” word and that i was too good for her anyway. I guess i didnt hit it off! Maybe next time.

As its tuesday, ill give you a haiku monday tuesday! LOSTL!

Glowing Sticks of Light,
People licking my cheek and
Touching the Trusty.

This makes a bad date,
As im not that type of guy.
Love and respect please!

Although its times like this that i miss my ant farms though.

Have a lovely week!

HOLA DIABLO BLANCAS! LOSTL!

My friend Rick taught me some spanish and he said that i should start my newest blob with it, so there it is! HOORAY!

What a week! I finally got a callback for my advertisement, but sadly, i didnt get it. On the up side though, i got a chance to audition on thursday for ANOTHER one! But i needed to get in and prepare for the next day. An actor must always prepare!

But the big news was that on Tuesday, i went to a Tony and Rico session. I was welcomed back with open arms as i hadnt been in a few months due to their break and my mums break in her leg! She really Broke a leg! LOSTL!

So when i got back, it was like coming home. Breathing exercises and pretending i was a tree are so much fun. We also got into the nitty-gritty stuff about preparing emotionally for roles.

That night, I-Zax said that he had a friend that he wanted me to meet on friday. A NEW DATE! WOWSERS!

As Friday came about, i was so nervous for two reasons. The first was that i had my audition and the second was the date! I was preparing for anything, including a small screwdriver in case i get chained to another bed again!

My audition went swimmingly as i was ordered to say things into the camera, then out of the camera, then to someone else and then from behind! I didnt understand what they wanted me to do from the back of my head, but i must always endeavor to give the best performance i can. No matter my angle! LOSTL!

It might have been for that dentist ad where 9 out of 10 dentists approve of a toothbrush but arent allowed to show their face! Although, im not a dentist, but i sure have seen them a fair bit with my braces and all!

That night i spruced up on brut 33 and put on my finest rainbow suspenders and brown slacks for my date. I was to meet her outside Sals Pizzeria at 8pm and wear a yellow sunflower on my lapel. SUNFLOWERS ARE HUGE!

I was waiting for a while until i saw this girl come up to me with shiney brown hair and huge thick glasses. Rick says they were “cokebottle” lenses. She too had braces in her teeth and a lot of pimples on her face. SHE WAS SO LOVELY!

She said her name was Rita and that she had read one or two of my blob posts and was intrigued with the handsome devil of Bobby T! LOSTL!

Well, we were eating talking inside the pizza place. Rita was talking about how she owns 6 cats and a parakeet. And that the kitty cats like to try and eat the birdy! LOSTL! What a madhouse!

We were laughing and joking around and i was honking through her jokes and she was laughing at mine until the end of the date, when i walked her home.

Thats when she lowered her voice and said

“Bob, I think you’re a great guy and i know you’re going to write about this in your blog, but I think i can do better.”

Well, i was just crestfallen. So very sad!

I stammered out a thank you to her and said goodnight as i trudged away with sunken shoulders.

Maybe i wasnt ready for dating after my torrid affair with Rose?

Anyway, i picked myself up as soon as i got home when i remembered that i still have great friends and a loving mum. No doubt, it will take some time to mend my broken heart, but ill keep trying as we all should!

Its still a Happy Haiku Monday though!

Remembering Love,
Still breaks my lonely heart so.
One day ill move on.

The Love of my friends,
Is enough for this lad now.
Which will do me fine!

And in the words of the great Dalai Lama: “Compassion is the wish for another being to be free from suffering; love is wanting them to have happiness”.

Good luck on your travels in life, Rita! I hope you find your new love (and your cats dont get the parakeet! LOSTL!).
